Suddenly from SBS's City Hunter

I really liked this theme from City Hunter; but the Korean version was so difficult to sing. So to fulfill my whim (and my desire to sing it) I came up with my own English version. I just based it on the translation I found on the web and just paraphrased it a bit to fit the timing of the original version. I have originally recorded my own demo accompanied by Sherry Kim's piano cover but I'm posting a better version here instrumental courtesy of azn-cedric, which I pitched a little to fit my range.

(Suddenly original version by Kim Bo Kyung)

(Suddenly male cover; music by azn-cedric)

Suddenly (Eb)

Intro
Eb - Cm - Am - Bb
Eb - Am - Cm - Bb

Verse 1
Eb------------Cm-------------Ab--------------Bb----
I am lost for words, like my world came to a halt

Eb------------Cm-------------------Ab-----------Bb---
It just never crossed my mind that I'd see you again;

Eb--------Cm----------------Ab---------------Bb---
And yet somewhere buried deep inside my heart

Eb----------Cm---------------Ab---------------Bb
Is a strong sense of longing since we've been apart;

(repeat same chords for Verses 2 and 3, and Chorus)

Verse 2

Whe-n I look back, I- can see you-r smile
The beauty of your face keeps lingerin' in my mind;
My heart is beating fast, it keeps me up at night
All of your memories just make me wanna cry;

Refrain:
Eb---------Ab---------Cm-------------Bb-----
So tell me now, ju-st where did I go wrong?

----Eb-----Ab------------Cm----------------Bb (sus)
Oh, let me know is there something I still need to do?

Chorus:

Because all my life, I have only wanted you
I will never miss you for the world, if I get a chance or two;
I don't care if I shou-ld die loving you
But for now won't you just please reach out to me
Won't you please...

Verse 3

I-- told myself I’d be fine alone.
That I could- go on living without you in my life;
It's a lie that I believed as I cry myself to sleep
But no matter where I turn to, it's you I always see

Refrain:

So tell me now, ju-st where did I go wrong?
Oh, let me know is there something I still need to do?

Chorus:

Because all my life, I have only wanted you
I will never miss you for the world, if I get a chance or two;
I don't care if I shou-ld die loving you
But for now won't you just please reach out to me

Because all my life, I have only wanted you
I will never miss you for the world, if I get a chance or two;
I don't care if I shou-ld die loving you
But for now won't you just please reach out to me

Won't you please...
Won't you please...

*Note: When you get to refrain, make sure that your left hand exerts extra stress on the keys to imitate the sound of the guitar on the original version.
*Note: You can actually play it in any that key you like, and I just basically used the family key of Eb on this one. And if you want, you can also complicate the keys a little by blending Eb withh G (but use it carefully so it would still sound good)
